The Certified Business Manager (CBM) Credential

The CBM is a masters-level professional certification based on an MBA curriculum. In other words, the CBM is a standardized exam based on the topics covered in the majority of MBA programs.

The CBM Credential is awarded to individuals who meet the eligibility requirements and pass the four-part, 16-hour exam. The CBM Credential is best earned in any one of the following situations:

  • if you choose not to earn your MBA
  • if you have already earned your MBA
  • if you desire to pursue an Executive MBA

In other words, the CBM Credential is equally useful to individuals with or without an MBA degree.

The CBM Credential:

  • validates the mastery of business management knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • and provides a common base of knowledge required of all business managers in all functional areas employed in all industries worldwide.

The CBM consists of the following four exam parts

Part 1  -  The Core Exam 1, which consists of 150 multiple-choice questions

Part 2  -  The Core Exam 2, which consists of 150 multiple-choice questions

Part 3  -  The Integrated Exam, which consists of 100 multiple-choice questions

Part 4  -  The Capstone Exam, which consists of a written analysis of a Harvard Business School Case Study

If you register for all four CBM Exam parts, APBM will give you the new Apple 16G Wifi iPad as part of your CBM registration. We want to equip you with the best technology possible to facilitate your studying.
