CIA Part IV Exemption

The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) in Altamonte Springs, Florida approved the CBM credential for Professional Recognition Credit for Part IV of the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) exam.

The CIA Exam consists of four parts, where Part IV is called Business Management Skills. If you are a CBM who wants to pursue the CIA credential, you do not need to take CIA Part IV to become a CIA. APBM will issue a CBM completion letter for submission to IIA to receive the CIA Part IV credit.
