University Partners for the CBM Credential

Approximately 40% of CBMs have already earned an MBA before before pursuing the CBM Credential. Of the remaining 60% of CBMs, the majority would like to pursue their professional development by earning an MBA. Earning the CBM Credential has provided non-MBAs interest, confidence, and readiness to pursue an MBA degree.

Since the CBM provides a common floor in management education across all functional areas, and should someone want to pursue further graduate studies, the CBM will assist them in that process. Therefore, the CBM can both stand on its own as a management development tool and can dovetail into future graduate management education.

APBM is establishing relationships with leading colleges and universities at the graduate level for the CBM Credential where the CBM:

- provides differentiation in the admissions process,

- ensures readiness for the rigor of an MBA program, and/or

- provides credit/waiver of certain prerequisites/core classes, depending on the university.
